Scout Group Rescued From Country Park

A group of scouts had to be airlifted after they became stuck in marshland.

The incident happened in the Itchen Valley Country Park on Sunday and involved children with ages between 10 and 13. 

The Solent Coastguard Helicopter was scrambled and members of the Hillend and Portsmouth Coast Guard Rescue Teams were able to secure a dry and safe landing site.
