The Olympic Sailing Regatta in Weymouth has seen racing all week and the early starters from last Saturday are now waking up to the last medal races.
In the Star Class, the regatta has gone well with Iain Percy and Andrew Simpson leading the field all the way. It is never over until its over but 'on the water form' looks good for gold in this class.
In the Finn Class, Ben Ainslie goes into the final race in second but very close on points. In effect it will be a straight forward Match Race as all that Ben can really do is make sure he beats the inform sailor Jonas Hogh-Christensen from Denmark.
In the womens's Laser Radial Class, Alison Young lies some distance behind the leaders in fifth place.
The 49er class head to the start line today with Stevie Morris and Ben Rhodes in a competitive 4th place overall.
Tommorow sees the final medal race in the mens Laser Class. A tough task for Paul Goodison lying some distance off the medal points positions.
In the Women's Radial event, Alison Young lies in fifth place but some way behind on points.
Further racing for the Mens 470 class on monday with Britain currently placed 2nd overall. Luke Patience and Stuart Bithell have it all to play for....
