Hovershow 2012

Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd of July 2012 is the Hovershow. From there site in Lee on the Solent, the trust will be demonstrating hovercraft and there will lots of opportunity's to find out about these special craft. Many is the time that we have driven along the seafront at Lee and seen the wide variety of craft parked up on the site. So it's an opportunity to have a look round and see a few in action. It will be great to see them coming over the road! This particular event is to celebrate 50 years of passenger hovercraft travel. The Trust has the biggest collection of Hovercraft in the world. It is a completely voluntary set up which is only open to the public on limited days. The show is open between 10am and 4.30pm . For boats in the area, the Queen's Harbour master has issued a notice warning of hovercraft movements.
